“IFS China invites domestic and foreign manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, fastener buyers, distributors and wholesalers to participate in the exhibition,” said the exhibition organizer. “Exhibitions provide a good platform for companies to build relationships, showcase their ingenuity and realize their dreams.”
The aisles were certainly busy on both days of the show, but exhibitors noted that there were very few visitors from the West, especially Europe. Many cited the Stuttgart fastener show in March as the reason for the lower number of visitors from Europe, as most people were meeting clients during the German show. However, the overall atmosphere was definitely positive and there was a clear sense of pride that we were able to present China’s “best” show.
Xue Kangsheng, President of the China Fastener Manufacturers Association, commented on the exhibition: “This year’s China International Fastener Exhibition demonstrated its authority and influence in the industry for Deutsche Messe Hannover’s global industrial supply and research director Olaf Döbler.” said: “The significant growth in exhibition space and number of exhibitors reflects the extremely high level of internationalization and enormous international impact of the International Fastener Exhibition. China has this industry.”
In addition to the exhibition, the “Third Meeting of the Eighth Standing Council of the China Fastener Manufacturers Association” and an in-person international procurement meeting were also held during these two days. In addition, on the first evening of the exhibition, an invitation-only thank-you dinner was held at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel. The dinner was very interesting and once again emphasized the professional level of the organizer.
Based on attendance at the exhibition, there is no doubt that it has quickly become the leading fastening event in China, covering all areas of the fastening industry. It is also accepted by Chinese industry and visitors. This event has become a must-attend event for Western visitors who want to learn more about Chinese markets and suppliers.
The next China International Fastener Exhibition will once again be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from June 22 to 24, 2020.
